Formula-to-finished-goods example
Imagine a 20-barrel citrus pale ale or a 2,000-gallon rosé. The formula defines the expected ingredients and packaging; each production event records what the team actually used.
01 · Formula
Add each ingredient, expected quantity, unit, process stage, target yield, and packaging requirement to a reusable formula.
02 · Production Order
Create a Production Order for the planned volume. CatOps calculates expected material demand and lets the team choose available inventory lots.
03 · Batch
As grain, fruit, juice, hops, yeast, additives, or other materials enter the batch, the operator records actual quantities and source lots. On-hand inventory decreases with a traceable transaction.
04 · Ferment and test
Assign the batch to a vessel, capture readings and lab results, document additions or transfers, and preserve the complete batch timeline.
05 · Bottle or package
The bottling run consumes the actual bottles, cans, closures, labels, cartons, and bulk beverage used while recording output, fill checks, loss, and finished-goods lots.
06 · Reconcile
Managers can review formula demand, actual ingredient and packaging usage, yield, loss, finished output, and the inventory history behind every variance.
